    October 26, 2016 Meeting

Carole Galati and Rani Parker:

using recycled materials in creative and utilitarian ways

The Beltsville Garden Club will hold its October general meeting on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose room of the James E. Duckworth School at 11201 Evans Trail in Beltsville, Maryland.

Avid gardeners Carole Galati and Rani Parker, will talk about using recycled (free?) materials in creative and utilitarian ways. Carole belongs to many garden clubs and has been gardening on the same property since 1971. Rani is very active at her community garden plot growing a wide variety of vegetables and herbs. She has designed her own enchanting, multi-tiered garden and has recently found vertical gardening to be space- saving and attractive. You are encouraged to bring examples of recycled objects/art and whimsy from your own garden. Rani and Carole love rust! If the real thing is too big, heavy, or “dirty”, bring photos of your garden delights on a thumb/flash drive. They seek to inspire others and share ideas

Sweet and Savory refreshment donations are always welcome. Please bring a plant or plant-related item for the door prize table.
